Bonifacius – Fall 2014 Newsletter

Posted on November 10, 2014

Dear Faithful Supporters and Friends, we trust this newsletter finds each of you enjoying the goodness of our Lord and Saviour.  Shirley and I have had several very busy weeks of meetings and travel.  We conducted meetings in Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina, Florida, Virginia, and West Virginia.  We thank the Lord for his faithful protection and provision.

A Grand Occasion

Recently, during the middle of October, we met with the H.E.L.P. Ministries’ staff and delegates from 17 different countries to commemorate the 20th anniversary of H.E.L.P. Ministries.  The meeting was held at Calvary Baptist Church in King, NC.  We felt so blessed to see such a large number of delegates assembled with us to promote world-wide missions and to honor our visionary founder, Dr. Scotty Drake.  It truly was a blessed experience.

A Library Donated

I was recently given some 330 commentaries, most of which have already been distributed.  We trust they will be helpful in training and encouraging dozens of young preachers preparing for the ministry.

Commentaries For National Pastors

We are actively collecting commentaries and study Bibles for several Bible Schools in the Philippines.  There are over 40 Bible Schools that need commentaries.  A fellow missionary and I have together already collected approximately 3,000 volumes for distribution among the Bible Schools in the Philippines.  If you would like to give some books or monies for this project, please call me at 865-661-8196.

Good News From East Africa

Earlier this month I received a welcomed phone call from Kenya; one of our field representatives was helping to conduct a service in a very remote, almost desolate area, when he noticed the host pastor was using a Thompson Chain Study Bible.  It was one of the 275 Bibles we sent last December in the 20-foot container for our pastors and churches.  We praise the Lord!

A Church Member Saved

While traveling through South Carolina, heading to a meeting, I was able to lead a young man to the Lord.  He had been very active in his Baptist church but was not saved.  We are so thankful he is now born again.

Christmas Is Upon Us

We still need some $2,500.00 to help complete the rebuilding of Pastor Aung Chin’s church building in Myanmar.  As you know, it was washed away in a flash flood.  Although construction of the new church building is under way, we still need to raise the remaining needed funds.  Would you consider a Christmas gift toward helping us finish this overdo project?

We Are Very Thankful

Shirley and I are very thankful for your faithful prayers and financial assistance.  Without your help our ministry would not be possible.  May God’s great hand of blessings continue to be upon each of you.

With kindest regards,

Daryl and Shirley Bonifacius
